Hi,

I have an intermittent problem on my 1997 9000. The rheostat always adjusts the lights for the ACC, the hazard warning switch backlight and the clock/SCC OK, but the instrument lights and radio button backlights are intermittent. Typically if they are not on immediately, then they come on after a few minutes, which I have learnt to live with, but last night they didnt come on at all.
Any ideas where to look?
I have tried thumping the dash, that didnt work...

Also, an unconnected problem with the radio. Turn it on and it doesnt always light up and produce sound, however the aerial goes up and you can see the display (just about, but no backlight). Then after a few minutes it will come on with a 'pop' from the speakers and stay on!
Once again, weird, any ideas?
