and comes to all older used cars (and sometimes ones that are still in warranty). Fix stuff and move on. After a while it sorts out and you don't have a whole lot at once, except when you defer stuff.
Right now my '96 needs:
the Aero springs and shocks that are sitting in my garage
the gasket on the turbo to exhaust manifold replaced
two wires in the rear defrost repaired
the driver's seat heater repaired
the air sampling fan cleaned
the rear badge replaced
rear wiper blade
and a couple other things that escape me (as I'm in a hotel 3000 miles from the car)
R&R fuel filter, air filter and plugs
sunroof tightened so it won't whistle when cold
and my '95 (daughter's) needs
heater core (I think)
front and rear badges
2 door lock actuators
rear wiper arm
SRS contacts cleaned and Tech 2 reset
an replacement ACC or distribution flap worked on
air sampling fan cleaned
rear pads
gas tank straps
Then again, what else are you gonna get that's as fun, fast, comfortable. safe as houses, and versatile as a 9K for fairly short money? These cars are a bargain. Later this year I'm about to look for 3rd for #2 daughter.
9Ks forever! (Or at least a few more years!)
