Geez.
FelixF, that is NOT high mileage at all !!!!
150,000 kilometers is only 93,205.6788 miles - that car isn't even broken
in yet !
If you said 300,000 miles I'd begin to concede high mileage on a Saab, but
my '91 9KT has 240,000+ and it goes great every single day and isn't tired
at all.
So, when your car gets to 300,000 miles (482,803.2 kilometers) I'd say it
is time to begin worrying.
As for oil opinions - I keep considering synthetic, but even with as much
as I drive I just use what my mechanic has on his shelf and change the old
dino oil as close to 3000 mile intervals as possible - long before it gets
past the nice kind of golden color and into black and cruddy.
In my humble opinion maintenance is about consistency and regularity more
than it is about fancy choices, and these cars really like to be fondled
regularly so that seems to work well for me and my well-loved car.
Greetings to All Fellow Saabers, and Best Wishes,
