I hope that now that the 9-3 is 4/5 years into the model change most of the bugs have been wkd out (similar to a 93 vs 97 9000).
I expect that I will likely upgrade to an xwd model once the used price gets reasonable 4-6 yrs from now.
As for 11 years ? truly hard to say my 97 9000 bought with 55K was my most demanding vehicle ever owned with regard to maintenance and issues popping up
- di, bpc, plugs every 10k, ac charge and relay , seat relays, heat on seat, antenna mast, water pump, steering pump, intercooler, exaust, serp belts shocks and pulleys, fuel pump, hazard flasher, high beam relay, misc fuses, yearly auto tranny flush, plus more
I am tired just typing the list let alone coordinating and doing the fixes...
I honestly can't see the 9-3 being any more demanding than this ....
time will tell.....
Thx
