DI Cassette - No Start - Sort of Long Posted by JEMSaab [Email] (#1053) [Profile/Gallery] (more from JEMSaab) on Wed, 11 Jun 2008 20:42:19 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
So I've been working the bugs out of our new 94 9k aero 5spd :). Unfortunately had to have the headgasket done. The job is done and everything is going well. I get home and park it. Car sits for maybe half an hour and when trying to leave again, as soon as I'm in first gear the car dies. I try and start it like 10 times and each time it starts then stalls and gets worse everytime. So I back back into my spot and take a look. Everything good. So I take on the easy part first, swap DI with spare. Fires right up. Just a reminder to anyone who isn't doing this already, carry a spare DI cassette in the trunk! Thanks to all on the board for sharing the knowledge. Before this happened I found that the BPC valve was shot. Replaced it, then the DI went. Wondering if anyone thinks this is related? Can a bad BPC valve kill a DI? Thanks!
