I don't know if the receiver for the door locks is in the alarm ecu. This might have been posted before on this board because I seem to remember someone else inquiring into the same thing you are.
I would say that the receiver for both is one and the same since it would need to identify the code being sent when pressing the button to allow/disallow the locks to pop up. Also, the alarm is set when you press that button (and all doors are locked automatically at the same time), so wouldn't it stand to reason that they would share the same brain/ecu? Then again, Saab's been known to do some nutty things before.
I just don't know how you would wire in the door-locking feature from a '94+ style into an existing alarm system from an older style. That almost sounds impossible. But I could be wrong...
