I stop by my indie every now and then, whether I need any work done or not, just to chitchat or help out if I could.
I recall on one instance, one of his regulars roll up on his '93 or 94 CSE fitted with 3 99 Incas and one 90s' directionals. He was proud of his find but came by to see if my indie had one more to complete the set. That was the only time I had seen the 99 Incas on a 9000.
I considered acquiring them for my '91 9000 Turbo as a set of snows as I liked the size, look and, I thought, the lack of big openings to pack snow through, that's when my indie told me about the removal of the locator pin for a proper fit.
Owning a '98 now, and am considering to relocate to the Southwest where Winter is nearly non-existent I've since given up on the search for good Incas. Oh well, maybe until I have enough funds and room for more than one 9000.
