My prize baby 95 SAAB 9000 CS "Aero" Conversion just isn't getting enough power--Its basically a SAAB 9000 CS with an AERO TD04 Turbo, ECU, BCV and Aero suspension.
Yesterday I lost to an older SAAB 900.
The Turbo is fine and rebuilt and balnced--14" of boost. The fuel pump is new. The car does 130. The engine is in great shape doesnt lose a drop of oil , compression 160 all 4 cylinders.
But its sluggish at the low side and two test drivers have noted this. From a personal note, the car is fine, but it really should be a demon and do 6.7 sec at 60 mph.
*The car is in perfect condition mechanically.
* Could it be since I dont drive the car except once every 10 days to refresh the seals, periodically I unhook the battery and let is sit and the ECU has to relearn?
* My muffler is the wrong kind?
* Even though I get 14" boost could my fuel pressure is low because of a kinked plastic line in the fuel pump assembly?
Where do I look?
