The fluid might just be evaporation from the ACC, which falls out centrally from a drain at the bottom of the "aquarium". She can probably check that by smell and feel - just water, after all.

As for the bucking, first thoughts would be the plugs or the DI unit. As you know the DI seems to fail in many different ways and a new one sitting in the trunk could be a good investment in your (??) daughter's safety. A site sponsor would ship one quickly, just a four-bolts job to replace - ditto new plugs.

Alternatively she might have filled up with some bad fuel - is the tank level really low?
