Sure, you could go buy a turbo car and there are advantages to it, but you don't want to. Ask on the performance board as there actually are a few guys running turbo'ed NA engines there, some with quite aggresive boost. Keep the boost down and you're fine; you'll probably want a modified turbo dizzy but I wouldn't bother trying to get the APC to work at lower boost levels, or with swapping cams, etc. Thinking about how many turbo'ed Hondas, etc. are out there, and most of them are running stock compression so obviously it's not just possible but quite feasible.
