Autos came with the numbers. Reason being the auto EDU has a display where your graph is that shows PRND321 depicting what gear the shift is in. The EDUs are actually the same, but they receive info from the ECU that tells them whether the car has a manual or auto tranny. There might be a way to fool the computer into thinking that the car is auto to force it to display the other EDU version, but then you'll be looking at PRND321 all the time, which doesn't apply to you.
This at least goes for '94+, maybe the older ones were a different setup.
