But perhaps the greatest weakness of this engine is its rarity. Very few 9000s were built, which makes it a challenge to get parts (and to find information on them) when you experience trouble.
Combine that with the less than stellar reputation of these engines, and I recommend you keep your distance from the V6. The 2.3 engine is far more robust and a better engine in general.
