buying a 93 aero as second car.

Hey all,
I recently lost one of my two SPGs, and am milling over replacement strategies.
I have the opportunity to buy a beautiful imola red 93 aero for about $1K.
It looks great, both inside and out. It has nearly 200k on it, however.
I am aware of many of the pitfalls of this model year - from the TCS issues, to the unique ECU and trannies of that year, which can all be hard to come by.
Nevertheless, the car has made it this long - and although there have been so many horror stories with this year, it stands that some of the cars must have managed to be decent - perhaps this is one of them?
The car has excellent maintenance records, and I have access to some 93-specific parts via a couple of junker 93 CSEs through my indie mechanic.
As a previous 9000 owner (97 CSE), I miss driving a 9000, and am familiar with general 9000 maintenance. I am also curious about having a glovebox...
As to the price, it was a trade-in to my mechanic, from whom I bought my ill-fated SPG (my fault btw) - so he is offering me pity pricing.
Thoughts? Advice?
I may decide instead to buy another c900, or perhaps an og9-3, the only saab model (other than the 9-7/9-2) I haven't owned...
thx
