1996 Aero. Start the car bone cold and it runs great. Once up to temp, it develops a miss at idle, and was picked up with a P0301 code; misfire on cyl.1 I've changed the plugs, tried 3 DI cassettes, and change the air filter. Problem is still there.
Did a compression check on the motor that was at temp and got
145 - 140 - 150 - 155
This motor has 200k miles...don't know if its ever been opened. No smoke (blue or white), no leakage (oil or coolant), oil looks great, as does the coolant. Overall, it runs great, but you can just hear a little skip at idle, like something just isn't quite happy.
ANY other things I can try to narrow down the culprit? My only thought was trying another ECU.
