My car has had 1 stud sheared off and one stud missing for as long as I've owned it...and that would be almost 7 years.

My indy has never been too concerned, and said I should wait until the headgasket goes someday to replace them. My dealer has never even mentioned them, so I'm pretty comfortable waiting until the head needs to be removed someday.
