Hello,
Spring cleaning time—time to get to work on some of the “project” 9000’s that have accumulated.
About a year ago, I picked up a ‘93 9000 non-turbo automatic with a broken timing chain. This is the newest 9000 that I have owned. The changes in body style are obvious, but I am not sure about if/how internals changed in model years after 1992.
I’m wondering if I can pull the engine/trans from a ’92 9000 non-turbo automatic donor car and “drop in” to the ’93 with no major modifications. Anybody have the knowledge or experience to answer the question?
Thanks for any thoughts!
Markus
