I think any springs will fit any year or model, physically. But as you know, Saab produced umpteen different springs for different weights, auto versus manual, CSE versus Aero and so forth, and marked different members of this family with a code of coloured blobs. The later cars are heavier, autos heavier than manuals.
However, I don't think the makers of the lowering springs care about the coloured blobs and they are unlikely to make more than one flavour of their springs, whatever they say in the catalogues or price lists. They are more likely to say "lowers 40mm" which just means your exhaust is in serious danger.
The obvious exception is Saab's own "sports chassis" kit which seems to have become unobtainable - great shame, as it's really nice (I have it on my Anniversary). Even that didn't differentiate between manual and auto. So all bets are off.
You now have to trawl through past posts and decide which springs are decent and which are likely to be crap. You might buy something like the Koni kit with fully assembled struts, since you'd presumably want new shocks too.
however, I'm increasingly coming round to the idea that you should go for reasonably compliant springs, sophisticated dampers (shocks) and some SAS sway bars to combat the roll - topped off with really good tyres. That way you get a decent ride as well as control in the corners.
