What's normal range for voltage readings on EDU?

Last week I posted that the voltage on the EDU was lower than I usually see, 13.4 to 13.9 running in stop and go traffic up to 40 mph with lights and AC on in rain.
Tonight I saw the go to the usual 14.0 to 14.2, then pop up to 14.5, which I've never seen before. Even with lights on it was 13.9 to 14.1
Is the car telling me something? Combined with the whine/moan I am now getting periodically I'm guessing something is amiss.
Thanks!
