In order to avoid the pump cavitating in a hard turn, Saab uses a pre-pump to fill the white plastic bucket that the main fuel pump sits in. On the Walbro pumps, this extra pump is driven by a portion of the fuel that the main pump is pumping. That's why you see the output going two places.
The earliest version of these used an electrical pre-pump, and the intermediate version used a pump driven by the return fuel flow.
