Thanks to my wife, who has excellent Saab radar, I now have a new to me 9K, 97 CSE. Thee may be a few problems, I have read out the codes, have some tune-up parts on the way, but will likely need some help later on. I also have an 89SPG, 89TC, and an 04 9-5 Aero. Been driving Saabs since 1970's, but not always a DIY person till the past couple of years.
We were driving home, happened to pass a consignment lot, and my wife says, "isn't that a 9000 parked up against the building?" We turned around, went back, and sure enough, a 9000CSE in Wyoming, the land of Few Saabs. I started it and drove it around the block a few times, and bought it, a bit over $2K, with 103 K on the odometer. I am going to have fun with this one! Everyone should be so lucky as to have a wife like mine.
