Ignore my previous post - I didn't read and was checking on MY post.
Good advice, guys. I would suggest eliminating the hydrostatic switch with a wire, and removing the relay, checking to see if there is voltage on the right/left sockets. If there is, then then power is getting to the switch AND the relay - good wiring. If not, then you have a larger problem. I'd also check the voltage and ground on the wires TO the hydrostatic switch.
Certainly, checking the relay is a good idea - check the power on the front/back terminals of the relay (with the ignition on). If there is power there (and there is power with the hydrostatic switch bypassed) then your relay is bad.
If you have an extra relay, try it, of course. Another check, if you don't have a meter, is to pry the cover off the relay and test it manually with the hydro. switch bypassed.
If you have 3 wires running to the switch, check to see if EITHER has power, if only one does, hook it to the switch... then test on the "high speed" fan setting. You may then have to plug the high speed fan plug (3 wire, not hooked up) to your fan ... This is how I "fixed" my 92 9000 fan problem.
