Here's the bolt tightening sequence below. The numbers indicate the bolts you'll find when you remove the valve cover. Also the valve cover gasket cant/shouldnt be re-used. You'll need a new one and a little patience your first time. Again, your head gasket is probably blown but its worth a shot.

When you get everything buttoned up and even if you dont have oil & water mixing, pull the plugs and check for sure there's no problems.
