I jacked up the engine as much as I could without stressing anything else. Then removed the 2 subframe bolts that are located towards the nose of the car, towards the foglight. The 2 bolts are very close together. I think I removed one more bolt, the next one back in the subframe. I then took a very large (3-4ft) pry bar and pryed the subframe down enough to slide the mount into the pocket. It won't hurt to take out or loosen more of the subframe bolts as you work your way towards the back of the car. I simply didn't feel like removing more than need be. So I did just a few at a time to see how much more clearance I needed. If you need something to reference, quasi's site has a great write-up. Hope this helps.
