Not!? metaklmasters?? "could' be iffy pads My local brake distributor (which I've used for over 30 years) Always steers long time customers away from the Deluxe pads as he claims they are beset with issues (and he;s the regional distributor) Axis = Metal masters, only or use another brand, is his advise to me, Brembos Do require a rather lengthy break in, surprisingly and Not following it once cost me a fresh set of Rotors,, You've been warned.
Also 80k miles is a long time for Calipers . They may need refresshing.. Dissasembly ,thourouigh cleaning fresh seals and relubing.
Likely not what you wanted to hear. But I've found Saab brakes to be quite good (no, not excellent though) But they do require More serving than other cars that I own (or Owned) Dunno why, just another Saab 'quirk'
