About a year ago I did the front brakes with new everything...ATE rebuilt calipers, pads and rotors and a bleed job. I've done front brakes on 9000 about a dozen times over 10 years and 3 different 9000s but I've not experienced this before...

Wife says she was grinding up front which I found hard to believe as the pads had less then 10K miles on them...but she was spot on.

Front left had about 50% pad left on inboard and outboard
Front right had about 50% on outboard but the inboard was metal to metal...

I think I can have the rotors turned and the caliper pressed back in with little ease. I plan to flush all the brake fluid (again) but I'm curious to why anything would think that inboard was on just one side showed so much wear. The sliders were not stuck and appeared to be Ok, but obviously something was amiss with them to cause the one sidedness...I guess that would explain why the right side was to metal and the left was still fine. That one pad took 100% of the hit since the outboard wasn't working...

OK now that I just re-read that...do I have my own answer with the sliders?
