I have a 96 9000 which has experienced this problem. After resoldering the door lock controller pcb, I still had problems on the passenger side doors with intermittent function. The grounds to toggle the actuators are controlled by two relays within the controller. The drivers door, rear left passenger door, and gas fillup door are one circuit group, the passenger side door, rear right door are a second circuit group. For the past six months, I've had correct response from the passenger side actuators by using nylon tie wraps(2) on each actuator to keep the plastic enclosures from flexing too much. If the package expands, the magnetic field is not strong enough to move the core rod.
