sadly that leakage is almost inevitable when someone does a poor job on the windshield install.. most installs on 9000's by my observation. If the rubber window trim does not lie perfectly flat and engage the seal clip, that's the obvious signature of a poor install. Although that rubber is only cosmetic it does require a competent seal install to allow it to 'clip' into place. Being afraid of this, I recently replaced my entire rear hatch and dealt with the 'repaint/colour match" hassles resultant, rather than face what I 'knew' would be a poor rear hatch glass install. Filling the surround full of goo may work.. but IMO it's definitely a touch of Hillbilly :-)
Possibly have it redone?
