The glass panel carries the same part # from early in 1986 through at least 1994, so you should be good to go. I replaced the steel sunroof on my 1991 9000 turbo some years ago, and it went in just fine. Everything comes out and goes in through the hole in the roof. No need to take down the headliner or sunroof tray. Worked great, and, far as I know, still works great!
