It was brake fluid. After prying open the rubber seal and releasing the pressure (slight, maybe 20 psi) the brakes work bettter than ever.
Still not sure hot fluid got past piston and into dust seal area,maybe when mechanic power bled the lines. I wll keep an eye on that caliper.
Also, highly recommend the ceramic pads sold by one of the site sponsors, they really stop shorter than anything else I have used. At $60 a set even cheaper than the standard Saab stock pads.
