Been there, done that with my car. In my case, it wasn't just the female part that was toasted, the male pin was in bad shape too. Clearly overheated & oxidized, the heat had melted the plastic so it was out of position. I suspect if I'd replaced the female connector it would have failed quickly.
What I did instead was remove the male pin from the fan controller and solder a short length of 12 ga. wire in there, exiting through the hole where the pin was. Then I connected it to the car's harness with a butt splice. Not a perfect solution but I suspect it'll last longer than just replacing the female terminal.
