While you're retrieving the rubber ring you can also verify you have the correct spark plugs (NGK BCPR7ES is the ONLY plug you should have) and gap (.9 mm or 0.036").
Torque the spark plugs to 21 ft. lbs.
Torque the valve cover bolts to 11 ft. lbs.
smear dabs of dielectric grease around the DI cassette boots.
Torque the DI Cassette bolts to 8 ft. lbs.
Chances are your valve cover bolts are undertorqued, and re-installing it with the correct torque will reduce or eliminate oil seepage. You'll be glad you did this.
