I think that it is a Taurus cup-holder that fits the slot. Personally I think that it looks a bit choppy, not in keeping the austere Saab interior. Yes, my car came without a CD player and there was a bin in there. Keep an eye out for someone parting out a CS model and I bet you could find one. The extra storage is nice.
