So my girlfriend was driving my 90 9000S, she was stopped at a stoplight and she said she was about to drive away and the car just stalled and wouldnt start anymore.
The car is a 1990 Saab 9000S 2.0 non-turbo, has 140k miles on it and is automatic.
The car recently had a no start issue about 2 days ago. I checked the cap and rotor and they had burn marks, So i replaced both and the car started right up and worked for the past 2 days until now.
what could be the problem? I tried to check for spark and it still doesnt get spark. could it possibly be the ignition coil went bad or how about the ignition amplifier?
Thanks
