Been searching posts looking for tips to cool down the pressure cooker in the cabin. Nothing but hot air blowing from the AC. Added refridge last year and it solved the problem, no dice this year. Just tried to jumper the frost switch, no dice.
If I jumper the clutch (yellow) wire at the compressor from the battery, the clutch engages, but as soon as I remove the jumper, clutch disengages.
Once the clutch engages will the compressor stay running regardless of the state of the relay/frost switch/anything in the electrical path before the compressor? This assumes that the pressure is high enough in the compressor, which the gauge says it is.
Could a bad relay be shutting the compressor off after the clutch is engaged?
I'm cooking in this car...help...
