You lower the main window all the way down. Then take the interior door panel off.
Next remove the trim strip on the outside bottom edge of the window opening. The best way to do this is take a large flat scraper and put it underneath the trim strip from the inside of the door. Then carefully push it up until you see it move up and work down the length of the strip until it comes up. Don't pull up on the trim strip - You will bend it up.
After this you will see a 10mm head bolt at the bottom of the metal bar that goes between the two windows on the inside of the door. Take this off. Then pull down on the metal strip to remove it.
Now you can get to the window.
The hardest part of the job is getting the quarter window and rubber seal ring out of the window frame in the door. You have to be careful when pulling on it not to rip the rubber ring.
When putting the window back in, lube the rubber ring with some spray silicone lubricant. You will have a hard time pushing the window and seal back into the metal frame without that.
