You only have to read the first paragraph on that website to know it's phony. Greater mass/volume of N2 being squeezed through the grooves? Like you can separate out nitrogen from the intake air, and as if those molecules will preferentially find themselves into the grooves. Also, oxygen isn't combustible. And just because he has a patent doesn't mean anything. You should see some of the patents that are granted. The patent office doesn't determine whether an idea is viable or proven, just whether the "inventor" has an original idea. I think we should drill holes to the outside through the cylinder head, to let more oxygen radicals flux with the free electron pairs in nitrogen molecules at the alloy/atmospheric interface. If you fork the holes into a Y shape, even better if you can manage a W shape (which stands for the German "Wachet Auf") then you can get the nitrogen to go down one hole and carbon dioxide to go down the other, thereby eliminating our dependence on all fossil fuels forever. Think I can get a patent? You betcha. Think the idea has merit?
