is not all that unusual for a turbocharged European car at 130K and 14 years of time.
Radiators fail more due to age than mileage. I did them on my 9Ks at about 145K. Tensioners wear out on all cars. I did my '96 at 145K. The '95 is due now, at 168K. A/C compressors wear out, too. (IMHO, these are actually a bit undersized in 9K because the car has so much glass area to heat the interior.) Head gaskets are not an unusual job on a turbo motor.
The blower motor is admittedly a nuisance, as is the heater core. But once they're done, they're done. The visor is another annoyance. (I'm waiting for it to happen on my cars.) And I'll put on a used one. I haven't had the fan door problem. Doesn't happen to every car.
If you can't or won't do some of your own work, owning any European car is going to be pricey. Try an Audi for high repair costs. You mention Volvo. My '91 940 T wagon bled me white in operating costs and was absolutely the worst car I've ever owned. Had it for two years, from 55K miles to 85K and was thrilled to unload it. Part of that experience was a head gasket.
Buying Saabs with known service histories and maintaining them in excess of recommendations seems to make a difference. So does knowing you'll have to do this stuff! But like everything else in life, YMMV.
