Hi Peter,
yeah I looked at it. I'd love to check it out, but my contract for the summer was canceled (11% of my usual salary), so nothing new and cool this summer.
I'm going to part out my '90 9kt, the autobox needs a new valve assembly and it needs a total new exhaust system. Given that it is in cosmetically rough shape - faded paint and only undented sheet metal is R fender and hood, and it's been the dirty work car - hauled manure in it for instance, I think I'll give it a Kevorkian and open it up to the transplant market. The engine is strong, half axles good and it has wood dash - so I gotta get it parts listed.
I've been thinking 9k Aero or 9-3 T for replacement, but gotta check out the 9-3's and 9-5's. Want a 5 spd road car. My 900T (actually a auto spg) is a great town car, moves great and the long gears yield good in town acc. and mileage, But the high RPMs on a 3 spd can get annoying when you drive all across Iowa at speed.
Good luck finding it a home - kinda wish it could be mine,
Buck
