Since I've owned my 92 9000T, the ACC has had two settings -- full heat at "HI" and cold AC at "LO". The stepper motor is working, it just only has two positions - fully out or fully in. I replaced the ACC with a used unit - no difference. I had someone adjust the ACC settings, while I watched the flapper rod. It doesn't "step" it just extends or retracts fully. Diagnostic test indicates "1", but this might be the recirc valve motor that is disconnected. Tried calibration many times. It seems if the cabin temp sensor was bad (I don't believe it is), I would get fluctuating temperatures. I have a used stepper motor, but haven't gotten around to changing it.
Stepper motor or bad ACC?
