look at the battery. standing with your knees against the bumper, on the left side (towards the center of the car...) there are two cables that are hung from the side of the battery box. The upper one is the one you want. it has the same four colors of wire that are in the DI connector (DI is red thing on top of engine...). Orange, green and two more I forget. I believe it is the upper one on the battery box. look and this will be "oh that's that he meant" you want to put the connector from your timing light around that bundle, as though you were timing a c900 with spark plug wires and doing in on number one....
crank the car. if it flashes the CPS is working, where ever it is on any of the DI style 9000s. If it doesn't work the CPS is suspect. is your car an automatic? I missed that if you said.
