Hello all,
I will appreciate suggestions for cooling problems on my '96 9k cs.

1. What's causing the coolant to come out and to dry milky white? For two weeks, coolant has come out under the expansion tank cap after the engine is shut off. It leaves a chalky - milky white residue as soon as it dries. I have flushed and left clear water in and it still comes out at the cap and still dries milky. It seems to be getting worse over time.

2. Why is no heat available from the heater? Both hoses from the block to the heater heat up hot right away and the temp gauge gets close to 9 o'clock and stays there, so no over heating. However, I don't get any heat from the heater through any vents. A/C works fine.

3. How can I repair the broken black plastic neck where the top radiator hose connects to the radiator? It was cracked when I took the hose off and then it collapsed and broke into pieces when I put the hose back on. I saved most of the small pieces and am wondering if I could glue plastic irrigation pipe to fit inside the diameter of the neck and attach the hose to it.

Knowledge and suggestions will be appreciated.
