Random info for you. My 1997 Anniversary 2.3 automatic has the Saab "Sports" suspension which is supposedly equivalent to the Aero's. The springs have been on there for about 40,000 miles. It currently sits so that the distance between wheel centre and wheel arch at the front is 360mm, and at the back is 350mm.
My previous 1993 automatic CSE came with Aero suspension, but I later fitted Abbott Racing springs with Koni adjustable dampers and this produced 340 to 345mm front and back, about 6 months after fitting.
The ride height reduction for the Aero suspension was only billed as 10mm by Saab, I think. Plenty of 9000s seem to sit a little higher at the front - and as you know the auto transmission is heavier that the manual, which means they were originally specified with different springs.
I found the Abbott+Koni suspension too rigid for my taste - superb on smooth roads but kidney-pumelling on anything less. Don't know NH byt have driven in NY, VT and RI so am not suprprised the Bilteins are harder than you like.
Maybe the best thing is take Noel's advice and go for SAS sway bars front and rear, to improve cornering without compromising the ride too much.
You are very, very unlikely to find a new sports suspension or "Sports Chassis" kit, they used to come up sometimes on ebay uk, normally offered by Two Stroke to Turbo, but they are like hen's teeth.
