Does the Drivers Seat memory switch have electronics?

Have a weird problem where my seat has no power, unplug and replug a fuse and power comes back and the seat moves to the 1st memory position in a nice smooth motion. Then to reposition the seat it moves in a jerky motion when using the normal positioning switches and I can hear the relays in the electronics module under the seat clicking on and off as the seat jerks as it moves and this is on all motors.

When pressing the position 2 or 3 memory setting it moves but in the same jerky motion. Position 1 does nothing and M button won't set a new position. I'm wondering if the memory switch has any electronics? Or does it just activate the module?

Then for no reason it will lose power.

Anybody have any ideas? Thanks
