I think of this as a 50K item, and do belt and pulleys

Do it all at once and you don't have to think about it for a long time. You can probably go 60K, but I'm conservative as a failure of a belt or pulley strands you. And it probably won't be a nice sunny day when it does. As my indy notes, a lot of 9Ks come in on a tow truck because a pulley failed and killed the belt.
The whole job takes 30-45 minutes including jacking the car, putting it on a stand, removing the wheel, fender trim and liner, looking stuff over while you're there.
Some guys like to do it from the top and say it's faster. Well, maybe, if you have small hands and can route the belt properly. The pulleys would be hard or impossible from the top, IMHO.
