if you've gotten this far the job is quite doable. one does not need to buy the return line. you can cut the original fuel line somewhere near where the valve has broken and then reconnect with 5/16 fuel injection hose. the new connection between your new valve and the cut end of the fuel line is easily held in place by hose clamps. i've never had a problem with the new valves as long as the rubber o rings are lubricated with gasoline before installation.
and davidk is right, if you look at these valves the wrong way they will break on you. ask me how i know.
