It looks like my 9000 has the dreaded "broken nut" problem. I have read through the post archives but still have a few questions, if someone would be kind enough to indulge me:
1) There is quite a big of play. Is there a quick fix for this? I tried putting a hose clamp over where the pieces meet, but of course it didn't work due to different diameters.
2) What is the purpose of this wacky tapered pin setup? Why not just a straight bolt? Can I drill a hole and put a regular bolt?
3) If none of the above, what is the easiest way to remove the broken pin?
thanks :)
