would be if it's including the volume in oil cooler and hoses which aren't drained when changing oil, because of the thermostat being shut.
The only manuals I've seen for newer model 9000s with B234 or B204 engines quote a volume of 4.7 liters in the engine. This fits quite well with the refill volume incl. a dry filter being app. 4.5 liters.
