Hi everyone !! i have a little trouble with my 97 aero. when i do heavy acceleration the car cuts the fuel , boost gauge shows that it does that at about 13-15 lbs of boost, when i stop it smells fuel. i already replaced fuel pressure regulator with a used one- no chenge, and also replaced di cassete, no change, inspected all fuel lines and couldn't find any leaks, i also replaced fuel pump about a year ago, fuel filter about two years ago. i have also noticed that when i took the fuel pressure sensor that had air came out of the fuel rail, and i think it has to be only fuel. also i noticed that when i dropped the fuel tank down to inspect the hoses,i let the fuel pump to run and i could hear the fuel mixed with air running through the lines.
i am guessing that something is going on in the fuel tank with the fuel pump of fuel line sucking air or leaking fuel .
Any suggestions??
i would appreciate any help.
