Other responses show you the way. Insert Torx or Philips under the rubber gasket under the hood front lip. About 3 or 4" in from edge. The grill moulding will guide the tip of the srewdriver to the head of the screws (persevere and all hail good Saab design!).
Once removed, the grille can be removed forwards at which point you can release the two catches using your finger. Search the board for advice on how to fix if the balls with a grub screw have slid along the cable. Mine were too corroded to release so I attached a nut/bold on the wire in the appropriate places.
I spent a few weeks with a jemmy and other tools in anticipation of having to break off the grille in an emergency (lights relay is a bit dodgy and needs an occasional whack!). I also had a spare grille from the scrapyard to replace the wrecked grille. In the end it came out easy. Now my V6 3.0L is badged a "turbo" as the replacement was shinier!
