...what I do know is that '93 uses its own groovy year of engine management--Trionic T5.2, unlike everything newer which uses T5.5. What I have going for me here is that both cars are '93, so both T5.2, and both are TCS cars. The only thing I am worried about is the ASR system (in auto cars only) and its interaction with TCS. I think everything else will Just Work. I know the ABS brain and even pump is different for the auto car, but I know to swap that stuff over from the 5sp.

Sigh, the more I talk this out and think about it, it only becomes more and more clearly insane... will have to have an interesting conversation with those emotionally involved...
